From the North Pole #1

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. November’s "From the North Pole” kit included supplies for 12 gift tags—4 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.

I paired the kit supplies with the North Pole Sacks for a quick and simple advent calendar.

Just fold down the top of the bag (I scored it at 1-1/2") and clip. If you're filling the bags with something light, you can use decorative 2" mini clothespins (affiliate link) like I did. Mine will have a mini candy and a strip of paper with an activity--movie night, hot chocolate, listen to Christmas music, etc. I've strung the bags onto Silver-Threaded Twine. The numbers come from the Alphabest bundle, and there's room for 2 numbers when you get to the double digits.

To make your supplies stretch, use just 2 pieces to decorate each bag. And if you still have pieces left over from last month's kit, you have even more options! If you've run out of die cut pieces, create more images with the stamps. You can't go wrong, so have fun with any of the possible combinations!

December 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Good Things Come in Small Packages. This kit makes 16 gift card holders, 2 each of 8 reversible designs. We'll get a Garden Green mini ink cube! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
