Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. July's "Fun in the Sun” kit contained supplies for 9 cards--3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.
The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.
Why should the front of the card have all the fun? In this alternative, there's a cool pop-up scene on the inside too!
This card can be made with mostly supplies from the kit. I only added a different coordinating ink, Azure Afternoon, for the sentiment. The beach towel is cut from the envelope flap, but you could also use a piece of cardstock or fun Designer Series Paper.
This card just requires a quick adjustment to the score lines. Watch the tutorial if you'd like to make one:
Measurements:
-Kit cardbase
Score from 0" to 3-1/2" at 3" from back bottom edge (see video)
-Envelope flap
2-1/2" (W) x 1-1/4" (H)
August 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Meaningful Flowers. This kit makes 8 cards, 4 each of 2 designs. We'll get a Pretty Peacock mini ink cube, which is a new core color. Plus, there's a bonus stamp set! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
