Gifts Galore #1

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. November’s "Gifts Galore" kit included components for 9 large treat boxes—3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always beautiful, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility. For this alternative, I focused on the adorable snowman die cut.

This card has a pocket to hold a gift card and was inspired by Chris Slogar’s Gift Card Pull Strip. I love having a little interactive element!

Measurements:

-Pool Party cardstock

  • 4-1/4” (W) x 9-1/2” (H), scored at 5-1/2” along the long side

-Basic White cardstock

  • 3-3/4” (W) x 5-3/8”’ (H), scored at 1-1/2” along the short side

  • OPTIONAL 3-1/2” (W) x 4–3/4” (H)

-Basic Gray cardstock (or just use Basic Black without stamping)

  • 2-1/4” (W) x 2-1/4” (H)

-Basic Black cardstock

  • 3-3/4” (W) x 1/2” to 3/4” (H)

I really enjoyed making this card and hope you'll like it too!

December 10th is the last day to sign up for this month’s kit, called Lots of Pun. There are supplies for 9 cards, along with coordinating envelopes—3 each of 3 designs. The stamp set is going to be a fun builder set that allows you to change up the cute faces for the images! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
