Gifts Galore #2

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. November’s "Gifts Galore" kit included components for 9 large treat boxes—3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always beautiful, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility. For this alternative, I focused on the Christmas tree die cut. I also used the presents, but if you prefer to save those, you can make your own presents using the stamps or leftover papers from the kit.

This card was inspired by a mechanism shown by Tanu Creative, and I made some modifications. I hope you’ll have a chance to try it out!

Measurements:

-Basic White Thick cardstock

  • 11” (W) x 4-1/4” (H), scored at 5-1/2” along the long side

-Basic White cardstock

  • 4-1/4” (W) x 1”’ (H), scored from top left corner to 1” along bottom edge, and from 1” along bottom edge to 2” along top edge (see video)

  • OPTIONAL 5-1/4” (W) x 4” (H)

-Poppy Parade cardstock

  • OPTIONAL 5-3/8” (W) x 4-1/8” (H)

I think this is a really fun card, and I hope you'll like it too!

December 10th is the last day to sign up for this month’s kit, called Lots of Pun. There are supplies for 9 cards, along with coordinating envelopes—3 each of 3 designs. The stamp set is going to be a fun builder set that allows you to change up the cute faces for the images! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
