Hope Box #1

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. August’s "Hope Box" kit included components for 9 cards—3 each of 3 different designs—plus some extras to decorate the box. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, adhesives, and matching envelopes.

The intended projects are always beautiful, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility. For this alternative, I added a sheet of Bermuda Bay cardstock, but everything else came from the kit. If you’d like to make one too, I have instructions for you!

Measurements:

-Bermuda Bay cardstock

  • 5-1/2” (W) x 7-1/4” (H), scored at 2-1/4” and 6-1/2” along the long side

  • 5-1/2” (W) x 5” (H), scored at 4-1/4” along the short side

-Hope Box envelope

  • 5” (W) x 3–3/4” (H)

  • 5” (W) x 3–1/4” (H)

  • 5” (W) x 1–3/4” (H)

I really enjoyed making this card and hope you'll like it too! This kit is still available through August 31st, or you can also purchase refills.

September 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Haunts & Harvest. There are supplies for 12 little treat boxes for the upcoming upcoming Fall holidays, and the box itself can be used to assemble an adorable miniature wheelbarrow. If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
