Welcome to the January 2022 Technique Squad Blog Hop! I’m excited to be a part of this collaboration with fellow Stampin' Up Demonstrators. This month, we’re having fun experimenting with our own projects! I was inspired by an otterly punny card from Stampin’ Up’s own Instagram feed last week. I created a version of it and added some movement with a DIY wobbler mechanism.
The awesome space background was super easy thanks to the New Horizons Designer Series Paper. Because that part took no effort at all, I was able to focus on other details! The otter’s helmet was cut from Window Sheet, and I used the Smoky Slate Blends markers and White Stampin’ Chalk marker to add some subtle shading. The planets all have shimmer on them from a Wink of Stella Glitter Brush. As always, you can find a link to the supply list at the end of the post.
