Just Treats

Writer's picture: Vy TranVy Tran

I have to admit I really like candy corn. Whether you’re a candy corn lover or a hater, you have to admit they’re pretty iconic! So when I decided to make a little treat container, I figured I’d make it look like the Halloween staple. There are so many different ways to use this type of container, though, and they’re so quick to put together, that you’ll be able to make a bunch for any occasion!

Measurements:

-Basic White cardstock

  • 5-1/2” (W) x 4-1/4” (H)

-Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, pattern 1

  • 5-1/2” (W) x —1/2” (H)

-Pansy Petals Designer Series Paper, pattern 2

  • 5-1/2” (W) x —1/2” (H)

-White Glittered Organdy Ribbon

  • 14”

If you don’t have Designer Series Paper, you can always color in your cardstock with ink or markers. I wouldn’t layer on colored cardstock, though—that’ll make it too thick to shape easily. as a finishing touch, I used a tag and stickers from the October 2021 Paper Pumpkin to decorate mine.

I‘d love to know if you try one! It’s always a treat to see your creations.
