Key to My Heart #1

Writer's picture: Vy TranVy Tran

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. January's "Key to My Heart” kit included supplies for 9 cards--3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.

The cardbases this month are already beautiful, and with a simple score line, it's easy to convert them to a fun fold using just supplies from the kit. I took things one step further by adding gold heat embossing, to match the gold accents on the card, and I added an optional message panel.

Take a look if you'd like to make one:

Measurements:

-Kit cardbase

  • Score at 2-1/8" along the long side

-Basic White cardstock (optional)

  • 1-7/8" (W) x 5-1/4" (H)

February 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Sunshine & Smiles. This kit makes 9 cards with peek-through window scenes, 3 each of 3 designs. We'll get a Mango Melody mini ink cube! This kit coordinates with the Rain or Shine Suite, and for the first time ever, coordinating dies are available in the Stampin' Up store! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
