Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. December’s "Lots of Pun" kit included components for 9 cards—3 each of 3 different designs—along with matching envelopes. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.
The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility. For this set of alternatives, I made peek-a-boo cards!
If this appeels to you, check out the tutorial!
Measurements:
- Cardstock
8-1/4” (W) x 4-1/4” (H), scored at 2-3/4” along the long side
8-1/2” (W) x 4-1/4” (H), scored at 4-1/4” along the long side
5-3/4” (W) x 4-1/4” (H), scored at 5-1/2” along the long side
I cut the windows using the 1-7/8” circle from the Circle Layering dies, but if you have a punch or another die of a similar size, that could work too! If you don’t have either, don’t worry—I also demonstrate in the video how to cut out a window using the trimmer.
I think this kit is cherrific!
January 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Kisses & Hugs. There are supplies for 10 heart-shaped cards, along with coordinating envelopes—5 each of 2 designs. The kit will feature an exclusive 2-step stamp set and includes a Stampin Spot in the Gray Granite color! If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
