Pinwheel Tower cards are really popular right now, and for good reason! They’re fun to make and to receive. From my perspective, all those extra card folds create possibilities for additional elements, which I love! My stepped-up version includes a window and a couple of pop-ups, and I’ll show you how to add those to your card as well!
The version I show in the video uses a piece of Designer Series Paper (DSP) to create the central “tower,” and you can find those measurements below. Some people prefer to maximize use of their DSP and don‘t like to cut it wider than 4”, and if that’s you—I have a different set of measurements for a 2nd version of this card that uses cardstock for the tower instead. However, the first version lies flatter and moves more smoothly, and that’s the one I like better.
