Instead of dyeing eggs this year, my youngest daughter and I had so much fun crafting this beautiful bouquet!

The Paper Bouquet is one of the newest in the Kits Collection. It comes with precut flower and leaf pieces, wire stems, and pony beads. I love this color combination, which just so happens to be the new 2025-27 In Colors!
The kit comes with diagrams to show how to assemble the flowers, but I found it more helpful to watch the video. I do have some additional tips to share as well!
The directions recommend having a glue gun. I have a mini size that is more manageable, and I love using a glue roll instead of individual glue sticks since you hardly ever have to reload (affiliate links).
Start by organizing your pieces. All flowers include one wire stem, a pony bead and crepe piece in either Darling Duckling or Secret Sea to create the stamen, and a crepe calyx in Garden Green for the underside of the flower. The diagrams show whether you’ll use 2 or 3 petals for the flower and how many total flowers of that type there are.

Use a bone folder to gently curl your flower petals. You’ll notice that one side is just a little bit glossier than the other, and I chose that to be on the outside. It helps to hold the base of each petal as you curl it to help prevent tearing. Despite our best efforts, we did have 2 tears, but it wasn’t a big deal—we hid the ones that tore by sandwiching them between other layers of petals, and no one will ever know.
You’ll need to attach a pony bead to the wire and then wrap the end of the wire around itself. I found it helpful to put a dab of hot glue to keep the bead firmly in place.

Use hot glue to attach the crepe stamen to the bead initially. If you’re nervous about burning yourself as you press the paper into the hot glue, use your bone folder instead! The instruction video shows using hot glue periodically as you wrap the rest of the crepe strip around the bead, but I find it much easier and safer to switch to our regular Multipurpose Glue at that point. Then just use a dab of hot glue to attach the flower petals, offsetting them slightly to give a fuller look, and finally end with the calyx.

This was such a great project to do together. Let me know if you try it too!
