Put a Pin in It

It's National Craft month! I love craft themes on cards, and the Cheerful Basket set is perfect with its images of all of my favorite Stampin’ Up! supplies. Don't they look so organized on this pegboard? As always, you can find a link to the supply list at the bottom of this post.

Measurements:

-Basic White Thick cardstock

  • 5-1/2” (W) x 8-1/2” (H), scored at 4-1/4" along the long side

-Basic White cardstock

  • 4-1/4" (W) x 3-3/8" (H) for base of pegboard

  • 4" (W) x 2-1/2" (H), cut with Dots & Spots die for pegboard

  • 8-1/4" (W) x 3/4" (H), scored at 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", and 2" from each end along the long side for pegboard shelf

  • scrap for stamped image

-Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper

  • 5-1/4" (W) x 4" (H)

-Dainty Flowers Designer Series Paper (retired)

  • 1-1/2" (W) x 1-1/2" (H), cut with Blossoming Happiness die for notebook page

To make this card, I stamped the craft supplies image onto Basic White cardstock and colored it in with a range of Blends Markers in blue-green tones. I also stamped my sentiment on a scrap of Designer Series Paper cut to look like a page from a notebook (it's retired but it's easy to substitute something from your stash).

I adhered the Fancy Flora Designer Series Paper layer onto the cardbase and then added the base of the pegboard. The pegboard piece was mounted on top with Mini Dimensionals. The shelf was constructed by folding the ends of that piece into a box shape that can fold down flat and then be popped back up.

I glued the stamped image behind the shelf and then added the shelf to the bottom of the pegboard base. I glued the notebook page to the pegboard and added a small Matte Decorative Dot to look like a pin.
