Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. February's "Sunshine & Smiles” kit included supplies for 9 cards--3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.
The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.
I took advantage of coordinating products from the Rain or Shine suite to make this sweet scene using the pop-up mechanism from the Queen Bee Workshop.
The platform was cut from Balmy Blue cardstock and the collar from Pear Pizzazz. The grass is Old Olive, and I used the cloud dies and puddle dies to cut rocks from Smoky Slate and Basic Gray cardstock. The butterflies were cut from the Playing in the Rain Designer Series Paper, as were the pieces used to decorate the collar.
I'll have more ideas to share soon!
March 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called Ten Years of Growth. This kit makes 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. We'll get a Polished Pink mini ink cube! This is Paper Pumpkin's 10th anniversary, and they're including the bonus stamp set shown below. If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
