Ten Years of Growth #1

Writer's picture: Vy TranVy Tran

Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. March's "Ten Years of Growth” kit contained supplies for 9 cards--3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.

The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.

This alternative can be made with just the supplies from the kit. I cut up an envelope to use the decorative flap for something else, and I used the leftover white parts to form the supports for the pop-ups. Or if you prefer, you can use a little Basic White cardstock instead of pieces of the envelope.

Watch the tutorial if you'd like to make one:

Measurements:

-Kit envelope (or Basic White cardstock)

  • 4-1/4” (W) x 2-3/8” (H), scored at 1/2", 1", 1-1/2", and 2" along the short side

  • 3/4” (W) x 2-1/2” (H), scored at 1/4", 1/2", 3/4", and 1" along the long side

April 10th is the last day to sign up for next month’s kit, called All the Little Things. This kit makes 9 cards, 3 each of 3 designs. Check out the iridescent foil accents on these cherry blossom die cuts! We'll get a Shaded Spruce mini ink cube, and there will be a free insert to help organize your box. If you‘re in the U.S. and would like to subscribe to Paper Pumpkin with me, I’ll send you a handmade thank you card, and I’ll be sure to let you know when I post new ideas!
