Paper Pumpkin is Stampin' Up's monthly subscription box. March's "Ten Years of Growth” kit contained supplies for 9 cards--3 each of 3 different designs. Kits always include an exclusive stamp set, a mini ink cube, embellishments, and adhesives.
The intended projects are always fun, but I love to find different ways to use the kits and show their versatility.
That bookshelf panel from the kit is so pretty! I thought it would be fun to add a matching bookmark and even more fun to incorporate into the card design. The ribbon at the top of the card is an invitation to pull, and when you do, you remove the bookmark. This card is perfect for your favorite book lover!
Watch the tutorial if you'd like to make one:
To avoid catch points, make sure that all the leaf edges are glued down well and burnished and that the slots are big enough. You can also cover the bookmark with Contact paper or packing tape to keep it flat, or just stamp on it without adding on a die cut.
